The Bright Stars Football Academy (BSFA) unveiled five new trophies over the weekend, raising the stakes for its ongoing youth football tournament across various age categories.
The trophies, presented by the academy’s Sporting Director, Franklin Ibojo, were donated by parents and guardians of the participating pupils. Addressing the young athletes, Mr. Ibojo urged them to maintain good conduct and adhere to the rules and regulations of the game.
The unveiling coincided with the second day of competitive action at the First Bank Sports Complex in Satellite Town, Lagos. Six matches were played, with notable results in the Under-10 category.
In the U-10 cadre, Group B secured a decisive 4-1 victory over Group A. In another closely contested match, Group C emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Group D.
