Sansan Boys Football Club are aiming to reach the final of the ongoing Football Fiesta tournament taking place at the Igando proposed palace playground, Alimosho.

Sansan Boys are unbeaten since the competition kicked off some weeks ago and they are facing Egan Sunday Sunday football team on Wednesday by 4pm in the first semi final match.

Sansan Boys are favourite to win the game considering their performance in the competition.

On the other hands, Egan Sunday Sunday team are equally good by reaching the semi final but a victory against Sansan Boys would be a shock to the football fans who have been watching this tournament from the beginning.

In the second semi final,Bucknor FC would face Igando All Stars on Thursday by 4pm.Bucknor stand the chance to reach the final stage base on their team’s current form.

Bucknor are currently playing in the U-19 National Youth League and the team have quality players who are hungry for success.

Bucknor lost only one match in this competition and they have done well in all their remaining matches.Igando All Stars on the other hands proved makers wrong by reaching the semi final and they need to double their efforts if they want to beat their opponents comes Thursday.

Bucknor team manager, Habeeb Adebowale said they would approach their opponents with all seriousness noted that all the four teams stand the chance to reach the final.

“We respect our opponents because they have won some matches by reaching this stage so we are not going to underrate them rather we would give them a good fight throughout the encounter,”he said.

Match coordinator, Habeeb Bello said the tourney has lived up to expectations and urged the semi finalists to shun any social vices that can undermine the beauty of the competition.

“This is a crucial stage of any football competition and we are urging the teams and fans to shun soccer violence during and after the game.

“We want to have smooth tournament and we have tried our best by providing best referees in Lagos to officiate all the matches,”he said.
