The current 7th U-13 JOF Kids Cup Tournament is certainly meeting expectations as young athletes display their remarkable skills on the field.
Over the previous weekend, thrilling matches took place in both locations, and predictably, the wiiners proved their worth, indicating strongly that this year’s U-13 JOF Kids Cup is challenging for all participants.
At the Ojo Oniyun location on Friday, Future Talent from Ojo managed to edge out FC Rainbow from Mushin with a score of 1-0. The Young Tiger Football Academy, based in Oshodi, triumphed over Okoto ACA with a final tally of 3-1. Strong Dove from Coker secured a narrow win against Master Football Academy from Yaba with a 3-2 scoreline.
At the Lekki location, Mighty Star from Makoko triumphed over Gracious Ayo from Ikorodu with a score of 3-1, while Super Rainbow from Iwaya narrowly defeated Demilade Boys from Ayobo with a 1-0 score. ADC Academy from Ogba also secured a win against Ultimate Football Academy from Coker with a score of 3-1.
On Saturday, the Ojo Oniyun location saw Brain Heart Football Academy from Mile 2 fall 0-1 to Stallion Future from Aguda. ROF Kid Football Academy managed to win against De First Atlanta from Aguda with a close score of 3-2, and Phoenix Boys from Apapa won against 36 Lion from Ajegunle by 1-0.
At the Lekki location on the same day, Young Talent from Ajegunle bested Supreme Star, also from Ajegunle, with a score of 2-1. Bright Future from Ajegunle lost 0-1 to Bravo Sport from Victoria Island, while Omonios Football Academy from Otto secured a 2-0 victory over Radiance Football Academy from Lagos Island.
On Sunday at the Ojo Oniyun location, The Royal from Makoko edged out ICE Football Academy with a score of 2-1. In other results at this location, PLT Football Academy from Iwaya triumphed over MAFE Academy from Ijegun with a score of 2-1. In addition, at the Lekki location, Smart Striker from Ogun state showed dominance against Tobi Football Academy from Ajah in a match that concluded at 3-2. Dollars Boys from Ifako faced defeat against Rufus Babes from Agbara with a score of 2-3, and Fortune Football Academy from Oshodi won against D-Pillar Football Academy from Ojota with a 2-1 result.
Looking ahead, additional fixtures are scheduled to take place across both locations during the weekend of March 20-22, 2026.
