The Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has charged staff of the telecommunications regulatory agency to uphold the constitutional roles of the body in order to have a Nigerian telecoms industry that will be of high standard as obtainable across the world.

Dr. Maida was rubbing mind with members of management and staff of the Commission at the recently held NCC Operational Staff Retreat with the theme: “Organisational Renewal Through Operational Efficiency” in Abuja.

The NCC boss was particular about service delivery to the stakeholders in the telecoms industry as this will put the Commission in the vantage position to play its constitutional roles efficiently and effectively.

Dr. Maida told the staff members at the retreat that “your role in the operations of the Commission is crucial in delivering on our Strategic Focus Areas of ensuring improved Quality of Experience (QoE) for consumers, growing the telecommunications industry, and improving its resilience while delivering excellent regulatory practices for our licensees.”
