Eng Surajo Yazid Abukur, Katsina State Sports Commissioner, received back Katsina United FC players after honoring MD 11 of the ongoing league in Ibadan.
Eng Surajo Yazid Abukur declared a cash assistance of three hundred and twenty thousand Naira ( 320,000 ) for the players, technical crew, and backroom staff.
The commissioner, who welcomed the players home, praised them for earning away points away from home.
Eng Abukur reiterated his commitment and readiness to provide all necessary support to the Club and all sports-related matters in order to promote overall sector development.
The sports commissioner instructed the club’s management to redouble their efforts by using their knowledge to ensure that the state’s number one club earns a continental ticket.
Similarly, to encourage the players, Club Chairman/Supervising Coordinator Alh Surajo Malumfashi has donated 200,000 naira to them for their hard-fought performance in Lekan Salami Stadium Ibadan, which earned the Club an important away point.
